Wow. You haven’t heard from me in awhile.
In fact, the last email was sent out was almost 2 MONTHS ago.
So if you subscribed within the last 2 months.. then you may not know what this is about.
Life can move fast.
Some context and how it affects you → the Lord has put me in a unique situation…
There are 2 things that I really like to do in life. 1. Study the Bible & learn about God 2. Be creative.
Something else happened 2 months ago where I decided that I was going to commit to doing both of these things.
I’ve spent a lot of time on social media…
For years I was consuming content from entrepreneurs and social media “gurus” on how to use it purposefully not only from a business standpoint but from a growth mindset on how to reach the most people.
I put off creating content because I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to talk about or create about, nor think about who would even care about what I have to say — but I was really overthinking it. Who cares?
I won’t go heavily into the details… but this is what happened.
I was inspired one day, and decided to just give myself 30 days of creating content consistently.
I wasn’t going to care about the numbers (still don’t), I wasn’t going to care about who saw it, and I wasn’t going to care about how many views/followers I had.
I just… created. Consistently.
I knew that if one person’s life was affected by the Gospel from what I was creating, that was good enough for me.
But what started happening during these 30 days is what was shocking.
I grew from 0-75K followers in 40 days on IG talking about what I love. The Bible.
As this is the first time being presented here, many of you are probably unaware of the account, you can find it here

I essentially do 1 thing. I learn about the Bible in context, and share what I learn.
I’ve had a recent fascination for the “weird” things in the Bible, and like to do research and learn from scholars and try to filter that stuff down to the everyday language — and just present it.
Some of it may be “controversial” — but at the end of the day I just like to learn about these things then share what I learn. That’s all. With the occasional gospel presentation.
Part of the reason I deemed it “controversial” is likely the fact that most of it just isn’t talked about at church.
So, why am I writing this, and what does this have to do with you?
Most of you reading this will have heard about this newsletter through BibleMate.io (which is still running strongly, and serving its purpose!)
I’ve been able to make some partnerships with well-known organizations.
However, this newfound audience that has been presented to me knows nothing about BibleMate (yet, perhaps).
But the idea is to take the focus of this newsletter off of that, and rather more into a broad, short, digestible Bible newsletter sharing interesting things I learn about scripture.
Meaning, thousands more will be exposed to this newsletter, and I want the Bible, in context, to be the main thing.
So, future newsletters will be created with this in mind, and that also means that this newsletter will be rebranded off of BibleMate exclusively.
That’s what I care about.
((I still have a fascination with AI, and even MIT has reached out asking me to share one of their AI-learning courses. It’d take up a small spot on a newsletter post, and I figure someone may find it useful. But, the end goal is to not have to do one of these. We’ll see.))
Ideally, Lord willing, I get to a point where I can do this content creation full-time. Either through a ministry lens and gathering support, or from creating valuable “products” that Christians will genuinely benefit from, or maybe a little of both.
I want to approach this Biblically — I know many Christian creators who use this as a means to an end, material wealth, and I want to make sure that is not the road I go down.
But at the end of the day, finances are still a real thing.
So, I’d ask for prayer on that situation. Or, if you’d like to help with any ideas/support… Feel free to reply to this email.
On a side note: I am working on a FREE, short, yet comprehensive (an oxymoron, I know) Bible study guide - where I’m taking the struggles that my audience has when it comes to reading the Bible and understanding it, researching & solving those issues, and putting it all into one place.
Excited for that. I think it’d help a lot of people.
At the end of the day…
Thank you.
