Hello!
For the longest time I was hesitant to do something like this… And I was stuck into 1 frame of thinking.
But I had a conversation with a friend of mine that changed my mind…
He told me: “Nils, there are people who would love to support what you’re doing, but you’re not giving them the ability to do so. You’re not allowing them to give what God has put on their heart to give.”
And that completely changed the way I viewed this entire situation.
It’s the principle one of my brothers showed me one random day a few years ago.
We were out to dinner with friends, and a friend offered to pay for our meal. I, not wanting to feel like I was receiving a handout, courteously refused.
The friend insisted, yet I still refused because I thought I was being polite.
My brother pulls me aside afterwards and encouraged me to “let him pay” because for me to refuse was to stop someone when they wanted, and were called to give.
Our friend friend really wanted to be a blessing to us, and I stopped that from happening.
It was impolite for me to refuse.
I NEVER wanted to ask for support in what I was doing, because I didn’t want to come across that I was using this as a means to obtain money because I didn’t want to “sell the gospel.” I didn’t ever want to come off as “another Christian influencer using their platform for money.”
But I realized that’s not what was going on… There are people who God put it on their heart to give and support the mission I am on.
And, if I am to be able to do this full time, the Lord will provide a way.
So with that being in mind, I'd like to make an announcement 😁
After much careful consideration…
I decided to launch a Patreon.
Essentially, It's a place where you can support me, and what I am doing through this ministry of content creation and Bible-oriented videos, free resources, and what God is doing through it.
A handful of you have asked for ways you can support what I am doing, but I never had a way until now!
Being able to reach hundreds of thousands, sometimes millions of people a month with the gospel on social media, and an appreciation of what scripture says…
It’s surreal, and I don’t take this task lightly.
So, as I even still struggle through asking for support, I am going to choose to do that now.
Now… Just in case you want something in return for your support…
Another idea came to mind — I would love to build a community of believers, and get to know you all on a deeper level, and likewise, you get to know me more too.
Patreon is where that happens!
Through Patreon, you’ll have access to an online community there and exclusive perks depending on the tier you choose, but, for you who want an even deeper level of community I opened a Discord Server as well that Patreon partners will have access to.
(If you don’t know what Discord is, it’s a platform to host communities on, and it does a heck of a job, and is a great place to get to know one another👍)

It might not be obvious to all, but there's an incredible amount of work that goes on behind the scenes in the creating of these videos, and the other resources (140+ hours just for the Bible Study Guide alone) and, Lord willing, I would LOVE to be able to do this full-time.
The first goal: Be able to cover the costs of producing these videos, which is about $200/month for all the tools I use.
If you have received any value from any videos I have created, or got value from the free Bible study guide I put out, or from any piece of work/writing I've put out, please consider partnering!
If you just want to support and not take advantage of those, no problem either -- I just wanted to provide value in return
